FROM ZERO TO NATIONALS
Christian did not grow up on skates. He had no hockey, figure-skating, roller or inline background when an interest sparked by Roblox led him to try short track in August 2021. What began as curiosity became a serious commitment to learning a highly technical sport from the ground up.
His progression has been built through repetition, coaching, development camps, competition and a willingness to understand why a movement works — not simply how fast he can go. That work carried him from his first laps to qualification for and competition at U.S. Speedskating Age Group Nationals.
2021 — Begins short-track speedskating at age 11.

Development years — United Capital Blades
United Capital Blades; individualized technical work; repeated Lake Placid junior development camps.
2023 — 2026
Completed three consecutive Lake Placid Development Camps at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center, gaining repeated exposure to advanced Olympic training environments.
2025 — Qualified for the Heartland and NEST racing series and competed at U.S. Speedskating Age Group Nationals.
